My angel of starlight

How brightly you shine

To meet at the summit

From the eternal climb

Alone you have waited

Beneath stars of white

The winds of eternity

Heeding your call to the night

The mountain I climbed

Brought both darkness and pain

Crimson tears found me

Like a sharp, freezing rain

On the damp earth, I lay

Almost dead on the floor

A shuddered breath my only word

For a lost spirit that once soared

From the mountain, I stumble

On the base I now crawl

The lake where depression took me

From a long, painful fall

A great light has led me

To the love that is true

My dreams and my life
