Battle Cry! Episode 4: Suko! part 2 By Salvidar

The building continued to go down in flames. The chance of Seron's, or Suko's survival seemed very slim. Other people by this time had started to gather around the site of the fire. They attempted to quench the hungry flames, but nothing seemed to stop these flames in the least. some people called out, loudly, "Is anyone in there?!" After a few moments and several more call outs, there was only silence and the sound of burning wood.

But, in the midst of the flames, a shadowy figure stepped from out of the fire. It was Suko. His hair was burned slightly, as was his visible skin, but he continued to wear that sinister grin upon his face. He reassured the people, slyly, "There is no one else in that burning rubble...I made sure of it." They pondered him for a moment, but then, the roof began to collapse. He smiled, "...but If you all would like to make sure be my guest." He knew they wouldn't dare go in because of the danger.

He began to snicker to himself as he left the crowd and wander back into the shadows, being staisfied with his murder. He said to himself contently, "Well, now that the threat is out of the way, no one, nor nothing, can hinder my chances of becoming the strongest and most feared!"

Many people gathered around the fire began to run back home once the roof started to caved in. Others stayed to watch. Several more minutes passed and the burning rafters gave in and the roof collapsed. The flames burst and raged on, until in one area, a burnt crimson haired man jumped out of the fire and hit the ground rolling away.

The people exclaimed and gathered around him to see if he needed medical attention. Seron was exausted and the leg that Suko had crippled was hurting even more now. The people carried him to a doctor within the city as the building fell in completely.

Seron was beaten and battered badly. And the direct blast of fire Suko had made burned his chest extremely. Seron had several cuts from the falling wood also and bruses galore. Although he had met death face to face, he somehow overcame.

Suko looked down from a building he had climbed up to. He gasped in disbeleif and almost didn't beleive his own eyes. He pondered to himself, "How the hell did he survive?!...It doesn't make sense! I should've- he was supposed to- what- how- ....?!" He then simply began to turn and walk away, with a different point of veiw it seemed. He smiled again, saying, "...oh don't worry Seron...Although you survived this time, I'm looking forward to our next bout...ha ha ha!" He then lept into the shadows, to disappear once again.

A few days later, Seron had recovered enought to where he could travel again. The townspeople gave him food to eat along the way and directions to another town. He had told them about Master Wong's defeat and they rejoiced and praised Seron for his help. He humbly bowed and said, "It wasn't that big of a deal, but thanks for the food and care you gave me!"

After all of this, Seron began to venture once again. Except this time, he kept a sharper look out for Suko...But Seron also kind of looked forward to seeing him again, afterall, he was quite a challenging fight! But he had another place he desired to go rather than hunt for the wandering Suko. Seron had heard from the inn-man that there was a tournament being held north from the city, about a day's worth of travel on foot.
