*Tears Still Come*

Take a breath,

Emerge from the sorrow,

step out into light

Then retreat till morrow.

It's happened again,

My sadness has won-

I thought I was through,

But the tears still come.

This time is worse

I can't tell why-

At the mere thought,

I break- I cry.

My heart sings out

The pain and sadness,

I want to erase

This horrid badness.

Why can't they stop?

Stop tormenting me.

Please make it stop-

Why can't it cease?

It burns me more

As you talk-

It's killing me,

This way you walk-

I waste away

In the silohettes,

Forever to be gone

For you to forget.

As of now, I'll continue to try,

But the tears still come-

And I will cry.
