As a teenager, you never really appreciate her
She's under your level of understanding

Though as an adult
She suddenly becomes a godsend

She's the one that took care of you when you were a child
Gave you comfort when you cried
Food when you were hungry
And clothing when you were cold

Someone you could never forget as long as you live
Even when you're angry with her

But that's fine because deep down
Even if some of us say otherwise, you'll still love and cherish her forever

She's the one that took care of you when you were a child
Gave you comfort when you cried
Food when you were hungry
And clothing when you were cold

Remember the good times
Discard the bad

Laugh with each other
And remember the unbreakable bond you two share

It takes someone special to be a mommy.
