Virtuosity
I have
as of yet
to run across
a person
who
recognizes me
for who I
really am.
Perhaps it's better
if they're all
a bit ignorant.
It's always annoying
when people gawk,
after all.
But still,
out of
50,000 people,
you'd think that
at least
one
would understand
what it is
that I am.
Maybe not.
It's only been
12 days so far,
and I have
quite a few more.
Patience, they say,
is a virtue.
