You look at him like he’s your last salvation.
You don’t understand what you’re feeling inside,
But you claim to yourself that it’s what you want:
A loving heart to last forever.
But in your heart, remaining like reflections of a bad dream,
You know it’s all very fucked up.
Nothing is real in this scenario.
Inside, you’re bleeding from your heart loss.
Inside, you’re screaming for a true peace
Outside of this distorting life that never relents.
You strive for a peace that does not exist.
You know you’re a fool, but you hang on still,
As must all human life endowed with emotion.
You can’t give up, you know,
You have nowhere else to turn to.
Falling in arms forced before you
Like those of some worshiped god,
You can’t help but remain
As long as those arms don’t pull away.
When will they vanish forever?
How long can peace be found in stranger’s arms?
When will inner sanctity be obtained?
