So you tell the world that your God exists,
You force it down our throats
And scream it out real loud;
Well excuse me if God doesn’t share your view
And if he’s probably so much more forgiving.
Ever think that maybe you could be wrong,
That your whole damn world
Could be something else?
Stop and think that maybe it could be wrong
To crucify everyone who disagrees.

Tell me now, why should I follow you
When everyone’s being killed
In the name of your religion?
Why should I bother to explain
When this is my life,
I have to right to disagree?

Can you tell me why you’re right and I’m wrong,
Why I’m not allowed to form
Even a single opinion?
You go on and on about your loving God,
Telling me I must worship or lose my soul,
And you tell me that you don’t care
To hear of my own views
Formed by living life.
You were told from birth what to believe,
But I formed my own views
By simply living life.

Let me live how I will without your condescending,
Your never-ending blabbering
About some God
Who never loves me ‘less I love him back,
Well he can kiss my ass
If I can’t live how I feel.
