It's about a crush on someone who's not only unacceptable to like, but also treats their dates badly and cheats on them...and you're wondering what's wrong with your head. (Not necessarily a true story.)

Through Me

A/N: Some of this rhymes, some of it doesn't.  It changed when I thought it was appropriate.

It's so funny

How hating you

Is a matter of loyalty

To my friends

Nothing honestly personal

I just hate you

If you ever want me

You know where I'll be

Hidden away in fear

Wondering why I love you

After what you did to my friends

With loyalty to no one

I hate you

But I want to have fun too

Never mattered what I thought

Look past me, through me

I'll never be right for you

I hate you

I want to wear those shoes

And that lipstick parents hate

I want to take you on a date

As wrong and sick as can be

I can't stop watching you

As badly as I want to

Just help me know

If these feelings count

We could be something

If I were anything

More than "some kid"

The "cool" sophomore

I hate you

But I want to have fun too

Never mattered what I thought

Look past me, through me

I'll never be right for you

I hate you

Sign me up for GSA

Still things never go my way

Every meeting I'll see you

When there's nothing I can do

To make you see me

That's the way it will be

Why can't I be her

The one that you prefer

To know what you want me to

To be able to have you

Only to be left for someone else

But I still want you

I hate you

But I want to have fun too

Never mattered what I thought

Look past me, through me

I'll never be right for you

I hate you
