The steering wheel turning
I am enthralled by the vision
of it all and what it could ever
possibly be; beautiful on the
inside and out as it already is
in that bittersweet reasoning
but I know it can be so much
more because I know the love
the love that is within and
rising through every word and
intention and from the way
your eyes gaze into souls and
penetrate the thickest walls
because I've witnessed it along
side another and we believe
in it and everything it's become
and I am forever grateful
because I never thought straw
could turn into gold until
you came around and showed
us anything is possible.
