I can't wipe your tears, that aren't falling,
Because i know that you won't cry for me.
I can't kess your brow that's not furrowed,
We both wish that I could be free.
I can't touch your jaw that's not trembling,
You were always ready to move on.
And I can't mend your heart that's not broken,
Because before mine could beat, you were gone.
So, move on.
I can't keep you in this place.
And live long.
But please don't forget my face.
And if we meet again,
I'll breathe again,
And lost time'll be restored.
And I won't have to write about you anymore.
To a big and better life.
And live long,
And be rid of all your strife.
And if I love again,
I'll live again,
And lost time'll be restored,
And I won't have to write about you anymore.
I swear I saw you cry for me; because I wanted it so bad,
I wanted just a piece of love; that's something I've never had.
So, you'll go today, and I'll dream away, and find what I'm living for,
And I won't have have to write about you anymore.
You won't wipe my tears that're still falling,
You know I'm still crying for you.
You won't kiss my brow that's still furrowed,
You're the one that I turned to.
You won't touch my jaw that's still trembling,
You disappeared at dawn.
You won't mend my heart that's still breaking,
Because before it could beat, you were gone.
