Mortal Tears

Rejection washes over me again
The pain of alone is drowning me
My soul is so close to death
I move with out a spirit

Why do I cry mortal tears?
Am I feeling emotion like a human?
This can be--it's not true
What has become of me? (mortal tears)

Life has become hallow; has no meaning
We are first born, we then grow
And then die into nothing
Over and over again
It's so useless to have thes feelings
Love destroys us (It's short-lived)
Hate just makes us determinded to kill
Jelaousy and joy do not benefit us

So why, why do I cry mortal tears?
When my soul is embracing death
When I've shut off my emotions
When I know I'm not human
What has become of me?
