…beach party…

            …broken up by cops and fire department…

…afterthoughts…

       …I’m still searching…

                       …for myself…

I like to be made to feel special,

                                       not objectified

I like to party,

             not to drink

I like intellectual, stimulating conversations,

                                                        not the opposite

I like open and accepting friends,

                                        not cliques

I want to fit in

                without losing my self-respect

I want to stand out

                   without being put down (tormented/bullied)

I like to be who I am

                       without worrying how I look

And that is all there is, when I think about it –

                be myself, and I can’t go wrong.
