With long, twisted fingers, the pain reaches in
Pushing through each little membrane of my heart
With nails so long and sharp.

A stake driven so deep, with so much pain
The past blinds me to the future
Ripping away my hope.

My dreams dissolve into nightmares
My hopes into fears
And all that's left are my crimson tears.
