Twelve Year Beginning

There she goes,

Blown away from me like milkweed in the north wind,

Purple-blue tints the sky,

Sounds of awake shatter my dream,

I hold my little one,

Her little hands,

Fingers around mine,

The little frown looking up at me,

The greatest tear one will ever feel,

Far more painful than the darkest days,

The most anxious moments,

With a drop of sincere well wishes,

Fly away from me my little sapphire eyed one,

See me when you smile again.

Good luck sweetheart.
