Episode 26: Back At The Palace

"We're here here!" Chisato shouted in excitement.

Miho looked at Chisato and nodded. "Thank you..." She said very softly. Miho got up from the wagon and went inside her home castle.

"I'll carry the others in." Tatsuya said.

"Are you sure Tatsuya? That's a lot of people to carry. I'll get some more guards." Chisato said smiling. Tatsuya nodded.

Meanwhile, inside the palace, Miho was walking to her room.

"Miho! You're back!" Yama said. Yama is the 5th daughter if Hideo. She has short brown hair. She wears brown pants and a green shirt with green shoes.

"Thank you Yama." Miho said.

"Miho, what's wrong? You sound so down." Yama asked.

"It's nothing really." Miho replied. Miho walked pass Yama and went in her room. Once in her room, Miho closed her door and locked it. She walked in front of her mirror and looked at herself.

"What am I going to do? I can't betray my friends, but then Saya will kill me." Miho said. "Baiko..." Miho said softly. Miho then started to cry.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Yui showed the travelers around the palace.

"The rooms are upstairs, you’re welcome to go up there and get settled if you like." Yui said.

"Thank you Queen Yui Takatani." Naomi said as she bowed down in respect.

Yui smiled. All of the travelers got their bags and started to explore the castle, Ryuzaburo stayed downstairs. As he walked up the hallway, he heard footsteps behind him. Ryuzaburo turned around and saw a girl staring at him.

The girl walked to Ryuzaburo slowly. She then giggled. "Lost?" She asked playfully.

Ryuzaburo shook his head. "No, not at all. I'm just exploring the castle." He said with a smile. "What's your name? Are you on of Miho's sisters?" He asked.

The girl smiled. "Yes, yes I am. My name is Mayumi, princess Mayumi and the 3rd daughter of Hideo." She said with a smile. Mayumi is still a very pretty girl. She had her long black hair out this time and not in a bun. She wore a light blue dress this time as well. She had very pale skin.

"Nice to meet you, Mayumi." Ryuzaburo said. Mayumi smiled.

"Same to you, Mr. Akita." She said giggling.

"What the…? How did you know my name???" Ryuzaburo asked. He started to back up from her.

"No need to be scared sir, I won't bite." Mayumi said as she winked.

Meanwhile, Baiko walked to Miho's room and knocked on her door. Miho answered.

"It's you. Hi." She said softly.

"Miho, what's wrong? You sound like you're not happy to see me." Baiko said.

"No, it's not that. I'm just… I don't know what I'm feeling. I'm confused about everything." Miho said.

"Everything? I might be able to help you feel better. What is it?" Baiko asked.

"I can't tell you. What I'm feeling is too complicated for someone with your lack of intelligence to understand." Miho said.

Baiko looked at Miho in complete shock. "Whoa, that was a…bit harsh." He replied. Miho stayed silent.

"If you need to be alone, I'll leave." Baiko said. Baiko left Miho's room. Suddenly the door was slammed behind him and was locked.

"Hey Baiko! What's up?" Etsuya greeted from down the hall. Etsuya walked to Baiko. "This is a big palace! Lima and I didn't have time to explore the last time we were here." Etsuya said.

The palace was really big. The walls were white and very clean. The floor was shiny silver. There were lots of paintings of Hideo, Yui and the seven daughters of Hideo. Baiko looked at the painting of Miho by her room.

"Miho's mad at me." Baiko said.

"She is? Why? Did you two get in a fight?" Etsuya asked.

"No, she's just mad at me. It all started when we left the Magic Palace. Since then, Miho has been to herself a lot." Baiko said.

"Don't mind her. She's just going through her mood swings like always." Etsuya said. Baiko didn't reply. He walked pass Etsuya and went down the silver steps. "Man, everyone's down." Etsuya said.

Lima walked up the steps to Estuya. "Etsuya, we need to talk." She said sounding serious.

"Sure, talk about what?" He asked.

"I really didn't think about what we did until a few days ago. We must get married, and soon." Lima said.

Etsuya looked at her in shock. "Marriage?? Why so soon???" He asked.

"We already did it, why did we have to do that so soon?!" Lima asked in anger.

"It was in the heat of moment and it's not like I persuaded you or anything!" Etsuya said.

"The heat of the moment?! Unbelievable!" Lima yelled. Lima pushed pass Etsuya walked in her room.

Akuma suddenly appeared behind Etsuya and giggled. "Hee hee! Daddy's being bad!" She said.

Etsuya quickly turned around. "Oh, so now I'm your dad?!" He asked.

Akuma giggled. "No! I met daddy as a sexy name, daddy! Hee hee!" Akuma replied.

"Ugh!" Etsuya said as he walked past Akuma. Akuma followed him.

"Why so mean? You were nice before." She said.

"I'm not mean. I'm just confused. When Chisato and Tatsuya saved us from the Magic Palace, everyone has been acting all weird. Why is that?" Etsuya asked.

"It's because everyone's scared." Akuma said. "Saya just came back, what do you expect? If you knew about Saya's powers, everyone is not going to be all happy happy and have high spirits like before. They're scared, scared of Saya regaining her power preventing her from being hurt like before." Akuma said.

Etsuya turned to face her. "So you ARE normal after all." He asked.

Akuma giggled. "When it's needed!" She said giggling.

Both people heard laughing noises from below. Ryuzaburo and Mayumi walked upstairs.

"Ryuzaburo got a new girlfriend?" Etsuya said.

"No silly!" Akuma replied. "I think that's Mayumi, the third daughter of King Hideo. Based on what Cheiri said, the sixth daughter of Hideo, Mayumi has been acting strange lately. She has been flirting a lot lately and cruel." Akuma said.

Ryuzaburo walked to Etsuya and Akuma. "Hey guys! Meet my new friend! Her name is Mayumi Takatani. She's the third daughter of Hideo." Ryuzaburo said.

Mayumi smiled. "Hello. Isn't Ryuzaburo such a hottie!" Mayumi said giggling.

"No, I prefer Etsuya." Akuma said. "I don't find Ryuza attractive at all." She adds.

Ryuzaburo and Mayumi looked at Akuma. "Really? You think I look that bad?" Ryuzaburo asked.

Naomi walked down the hall. "Bo-Bo!" She yelled running to Ryuzaburo with joy. When she caught up to him she hugged him and they shared a passionate kiss.

"Ew!" Akuma shouted.

Mayumi looked the couple with disgust. Akuma looked at Mayumi. "Yes, he has a lover. I guess that ruins your plans with him doesn't it?" Akuma said coldly.

"Akuma! Don't be rude!" Etsuya said.

Naomi looked at Mayumi and smiled. "Hello, what's your name? Are you Miho's sister?" Naomi asked smiling.

"What business is it of yours?!" Mayumi replied coldly. Mayumi walked to Ryuzaburo. "I'll see you later!" She said giggling. Mayumi walked pass Ryuzaburo and went downstairs.

"Gee, what's her problem?" Naomi asked.

"I don't like her." Akuma said.

Ryuzaburo looked at Akuma. "Why not? She's very nice. She's funny as well." He said.

"There's something about her that makes me sick. She's dangerous Ryuza, and if I were you, I wouldn't hang around her." Akuma said. Akuma walked pass them and went downstairs.

"She says Mayumi is dangerous, but look at her. Akuma is the dangerous one. We don’t even know anything about her. Like, why was she in the Magic Palace in the first place?" Ryuzaburo said.

"Why do you say that?" Etsuya said. "Sure, she's weird, but she isn't dangerous." He added.

"She gives me the creeps." Naomi said.

Nightfall came and it was a full moon. Miho walked out of her room and went outside, Daisetsu just happened to be there as well. Miho looked at the moon, thinking to herself. Unsure about what she should do. Suddenly, Saya appeared into her brain.

"Hello Miho. Make sure you kill the others, or else I won't be so happy with you." Saya said.

Miho then started to cry. Daisetsu looked at Miho.

"Are you okay?" He asked as he walked towards Miho.

"No. I'm not. I don't know what to feel." Miho said.

"I see… Well, no I don't. Tomorrow, you should go talk to Chie. She's good when it comes to those kind of things." Daisetsu said.

"No! Please, don't be nice to me. You'll only make my job harder!" Miho said.

"Job? Harder? What are you planning to do? Kill us?" Daisetsu asked, jokingly.

Miho gasped and ran back in the palace crying.

"Eh? What is going on here?" He asked himself.

Miho ran upstairs to her room and slammed her door. When she locked her door, she turned around, only to find Morie sitting on her bed.

"Saya told me to give you this." Morie said. Morie walked to Miho and gave her a light blue orb. "Break it and the power of the crystal will be yours to use. Do not fail lady Saya! The crystal element is the strongest element of all!" Morie said.

Miho took the orb and broke it like Morie said. Blue dust came from the orb and went inside Miho. Miho screamed.

Everyone in the palace heard Miho's scream.

"Miho!" Baiko yelled as he ran towards Miho's door.

"Baiko don't! You don't know what's in there!" Chie warned.

Akuma smiled. "Boom!" She shouted.

When Baiko walked towards Miho's door, a huge light blue blast came from Miho's room and blasted Baiko to the wall. Baiko was knocked out.

"Ouch! That was a strong blast!" Hiroshi said.

Miho ran out of the room. Her eyes were light blue.

"Miho! Did you do that?" Hideo said.

Miho didn't answer.

"She's not normal." Naomi said.

"Gee, is it that obvious?!" Hiroshi said.

Lima tried to make an attempt to knock Miho out. Lima took a long cane to slam it on Miho's head. Miho turned around as if she didn't feel anything. Miho picked Lima up by her neck, choking her.

"Lima!" Etsuya yelled.

Etsuya ran to Miho to attack. With her other hand, Miho blasted Etsuya with another blast. Etsuya flew all the way to the end of the hall.

"Oh my God!" Cheiri said.

"Miho! What's wrong with you?!" Yui asked.

"Stop this at once!" Hideo ordered.

Miho fired a blast at all eight of her family members. They were then all knocked out.

"Her magic power is out of this world! I say we all jump her!" Hiroshi said.

Chie threw her shuriken at Miho, Hiroshi slashed her with his sword, Daisetsu was slashing Miho with his axe and Naomi was hitting Miho with her staff. Ryuzaburo managed to get Lima out of the way from Miho. Akuma was leaning against the wall watching the fight.

"Pathetic, they can't win." Akuma said. A huge, light blue blast suddenly came from Miho and blasted everyone away from her. Akuma was the only one left who wasn't knocked out. They both stared at each other.

"Well, aren't you going to shoot at me too?" Akuma taunted.

Miho stood silent. Suddenly, Miho fell to the ground unconscious. Akuma walked towards the window at the end of the hall. She looked at one tall tree that wasn't there before. She then saw a man on the tree. The man winked and disappeared. Akuma gasped.

"It's him!" She said.
