I'm BAAAAaaaAAaaaCK!! XD with a new story. Heh, this is a fantasy, slightly fairy-tale-ish story ^^;; Here you go!

Prolouge: I Hate You!

"You are an idiot!" yelled a small, five-year-old girl as she stumbled after a boy a few years older than she. Her long, dark violet hair was pulled into a bun, but a few wisps of her hair had wriggle free of the ribbon's hold. She was donned in a long maroon dress that barely touched the ground, but it still was able to cause the young girl to trip on the hem. There was an intricate design around the long sleeves of the dress in gold stitch that looked like small leaves and ivy twining it's way around the sleeves.

"Well you are a brat!" called the boy over his shoulder as he ran through the forest, jumping over a few small bushes and logs. "And you smell, too, Kali!"

"I do not, you pig!" the girl called back, growling angrilly as she continued to follow the boy, "When I catch you Arlie, I'm going to pull your hair out by the roots!"

"You mean 'if' you catch me, loser!" replied Arlie.

"Oooo, you are so infuriating!" hissed Kali. After a few more minutes of running after the obnoxious boy, both burst through the forest into the bright, sunny daylight that had been sucked away by the trees while they were in the forest. Arlie stopped right outside the edge of the forest, catching his breath as he ignored the loud, thrashing of Kali bursting through the forest. From sheer momentum, Kali wasn't able to stop in time, and slammed right into Arlie's back causing both of them to fall to the ground in a heap.

Kali landed atop of the eight-year-old boy, blinking in confusion as she sat up and stared down at the black-haired kid. Twigs and leaves were riddled throughout the boy's hair from his earlier excursion through the forest. Arlie glared at Kali with his fiery orange eyes. His once hunter green tunic and breeches were now splattered with mud and dirt. The girl stuck her tongue out at the boy and grabbed a fist full of his hair. Holding true to her promise earlier she yanked on the poor boy's hair as hard as she could, actually ripping a bit out.

Arlie screamed in pain, as tears threatened to spill from his eyes. In pure rage he rolled over and pinned Kali to the ground, pushed up her sleeve to reveal pale, smooth skin, and bit Kali savagely on her arm. A tear-wrenching scream rang out through the forest, the village, and made it's way up to the castle from the poor five-year-old as tears steadily streamed from her eyes. Arlie snorted, unaffected by the poor girl's screams as he sat up and looked at his handy work. There on the girl's arm, right in the middle of her upper arm were two sets of teeth marks. Oozing steadily out of the wound were a few, thin streams of crimson blood trickling down her pale skin.

As tears still slowly tread down the girl's cheeks, Kali slapped Arlie across his face angrilly, leaving a nice, bright, red mark shaped like the girl's hand on the boy's face. Arlie's fiery orange eyes glared murderously at the girl, as he raised his hand to slap the girl back. Yet, fortuneatly for the girl, Arlie was grabbed by his wrist and hoisted off of Kali. He turned to glare at whomever had the gall to stop him from slapping the girl back, but who he found was his worst nightmare...his nanny.

"Arlie Garon, how dare you hurt Princess Kali!" scolded the old, fourty-year-old woman as she took hold of the boy's ear now, "I thought you'd have more brains, and manners for that matter, than to bite your guest!"

"She's not my guest, she's a brat!" retorted the boy, though he regretted it as his nanny yanked at his ear. Nanny may have looked like loving grandmother type, but she could really sting you with her sharp tongue. Slightly frizzy, white hair fell down to her shoulders, it was thin but the lightest of breezes loved to play with it. Her lovely hazel eyes could make you feel filled with a lovely, cozy warmth, or make you feel colder than a fish in the freezing winter midnight.

Kali, in the meantime had gotten to her feet, trying to wipe at the tears that were streaming out of her eyes. Her bottom lip was still quivering, however, once she wiped away what tears had fallen from her light blue, almost opal-like, eyes. Kali blinked back what tears still wished to fall as she stared at the scene before her. Regardless of the slight pain she was in, she giggled. Arlie being punished by his Nanny, how routine yet oddly funny.

Arlie threw a glare at the girl, and angrilly bared his fanged teeth at her. Nanny smiled at Kali, slightly relieved that the girl had gotten up instead of fainted on the ground. Nanny's eyes went slightly wide at seeing a few droplets of blood, trickling down the girl's arm. Again, the old lady started to scold the boy, wagging a finger in the young prince's face as she did so. After a sufficient amount of lecturing the boy, Nanny decided it was time to drag the two little ruffians back to the castle. Nanny thought it was fit to take hold of both of the children's hands, and walk between them, just incase a arguement broke out between Arlie and Kali. The old lady's intuitions were right on the dot, for after a few minutes of silence the two started to argue heatedly with the other.

"Well, you have no brains, what-so-ever!" snapped Kali, huffing as she crossed her arms. One of Kali's arms were bandaged in a small cloth, thanks to the wise old lady whom was referred to as Nanny.

"At least I don't cry at the sight of a spider, crybaby!" yelled the boy back at Kali, his eyes still glowing agitatedly.

"I am not a crybaby, you butthead!" screamed the girl, throwing Arlie an icy glare.

"Yes you are!"

"Am not!"

"Are to, crybaby!"

"I hate you, you....you....." Unable to come up with another name to use against the boy, Kali huffed angrilly and let out an irritated, 'Grah'.

"Good! 'Cause I hate you, too!" screamed Arlie back at the girl.

"Good!" yelled the girl back. And so, a nice silence fell over the three travelling figures. Both Arlie and Kali glared off in the directions opposite of their opponents, fuming angrilly in silence. Nanny just shook her head, chuckling slightly at the little display that she had just witnessed. She glanced from the little boy that she watched over, to the girl whom had come to the castle to visit Arlie's mother and father with her own parents.

Finally, the old lady laughed as she said in a light, cheerful tone, "You two sound like an old married couple."

At that comment, both Arlie and Kali glanced at each other, before shouting in their high, child-like voices, "EWWWWWHH!!!"
