DRUM INTRO

Were you in among the rest?
Did you truly detest
The disease among the living...

Did you see your reflection
Some twisted new direction
Everybody is a traitor

You used to be so ashamed
I still do not know your name
But I know you are an ally

I'm so afraid to walk this way alone
I'm so afraid to find a place called home
I'm such a tragedy but I still stand
The desperation makes me who I am

GUITAR SOLO

And God is still a poet
Though the concept still fits
I'm a God among my own thoughts

Everyone is so distorted
Remember how we fought it
I still feel the atrocities

REPEATED GUITAR SOLO

I am not the person I used to be
I am not the person I used to be
(x a few)
