Farewell

Memories float,

Across the surface,

Of a pond.

A pond once full of hopes,

Dreams and,

Futures.

But it’s all,

Behind us,

Now…

I once wished,

That it’d last,

Forever.

Till dream became reality,

And nothing ever,

Would be lost.

But hoping,

Isn’t,

Everything.

Even when,

Everything is so,

Simple.

So the pond,

Stays ever clear.

Clear of all its worries.
