It was during a moment when she felt as if she wanted no more human contact. When she felt so badly about her 'lost loves' and 'never haves'. It was as if her broken dream of ever having the guy she wanted reflected to her a beautiful shattered picture of something whole, something more powerful and more meaningful than anything she had ever hoped for.

She sat in front of her computer screen, typing on her instant messenger program two wholly different conversations. In one window, she was discussing how she felt for this one guy that she had liked for forever while complaining about her problems with a close friend to a person she barely knew, but felt as if she had an instant connection with. In the other, she was talking to the aforementioned guy, talking about not much in particular.

In the first conversation, the one with her friend Aiden, she had confessed to feeling left out and unappreciated by the guy, Vahe, and the feeling made her physically sick to her stomach. She felt so alone and unloved, and yet, when Aiden asked her what she wanted, her reply would have been "I just want someone to love me." and then there it was.

A bolt of amazing revelation struck her like a blow from a gods hammer. She had thought she had been in love before, but nothing had ever overwhelmed her like this. She felt as if her heart was going to explode. Had she actually typed those words on the screen, they would have been a lie from the beginning.

Someone did love her. Someone loved her as much as she loved them. She was as loved as she had ever felt the staggering need to be loved, and no one could take that away from her. She had finally found what she had been looking for for so long, and it had been in front of her the whole time.

Someone who would never leave her, someone who would never cheat on her, someone who would always be there, someone who would never hurt her, and someone who loved her. Someone she had known forever, and yet, it had taken her this long to realize the truth.

Suddenly, all the pain she had felt from her unrequited 'love' for Vahe faded to nothing, because she already had it all. Any other feeling faded to euphoric bliss and nothing could pop her bubble. Tears that she didn't know were falling cascaded down her cheeks. She couldn't tell if they were just tears or tears of happiness, but she didn't much care. She not only had the perfect way to get over Vahe and his ability to make her sick, but she would never worry about being alone again.

As her eyes continued to rain onto her face, she felt a warmth from memories so long past, yet treasured and never forgotten; Of love and laughter, of pain and tears, of growth and friendship.

Never again would she believe she wasn't loved, for she had found her soul mate.
