Are you nervous?

Cover my eyes with your hand,
As the other trails down my side,
Then comes back up to my neck . . .
'Are you nervous?'
You ask, in a deep, soothing voice.
'No." I reply. I'm never nervous around you.
Your hand goes from my neck,
To right above my chest
Then slowly down you go.
Every step of the way asking:
'Are you nervous?'
And always I reply,
'No,' not around you
