I Need You

At nights when I have a terrible dream,

I awake and look to see you next to me.

I need to be there to chase away all my scary fears,

Wipe off my sadden tears,

Hold me when I’m sick,

And even be nice when I act like a dick.

With all the troubled issues I have,

I need you to stand by my side.

There is so much in this life,

Without you I would die.

I need you more than you’ll ever know.

I hope that I always let it show.
