Creative Writing class I am currently taking. The subject matters are
parallel to my Buddhist beliefs, the first one dealing with Awakening, the
next two focusing on Impermanence, and the last two dealing with the

Know Liberation
Like the wind freely drifting
But not existing
Touching life with deft whispers
Though not trapped by worldly needs

Bubbles interlace
Clear strands of racing water
A necklace of pearls
But each stone is transient
Lingering shortly, then lost

As new flowers bloom
And even stars live and die
All will come and go
What is today may soon leave
Tomorrow will be different

Breezy clouds descend
Over the colors of earth
Gently veiling
Sheets of white hide tree and path
As delusioned mind

Droplets of water
Claimed by the depths of the earth
As thoughts caught in mind
But when drops meet solid stone
They go to the air, unmade
