Mike

Searching for the courage to say I love you,

Wondering if I will regret never confessing myself to you.

Dreaming of you, fantasizing…

I regret it now,

Not being able to confess my love to you,

To tell you that you changed my life,

That in the short time we were friends,

I fell in love.

A girl, hopeless,

Used and lonely,

Looking for a place to fit in.

I can see now how weak I was.

Yet you smiled and laughed with me,

Teased me, played around like we were best of friends.

I wish I had said I loved you,

That I cared…

But I just regret it now,

Even though I love you no more,

You’re still on my mind.

A/N: Got too many poems that I’ve been wanting to upload from the past year or so… so I’m gonna do them today! Yay! This is the first of them… ha… what can I say about this? I don’t know, I was just in love with a guy who got me into playing trombone…
