cast stones.
pebbles skipping over the silver surface
winged mercury ripples under glass
concentric reflections stretching
eternity of distortion-
all hands.
all eyes.
nothing is as it seems,
because everything is as it seems.
throw stones
and shatter the mirror.
breaking free,
they drift down the glass river
like so many breadcrumbs.
