A Ram, elegant and shy,
Walked astray.
With a coat of gold,
He went his way.
1955
And puzzled about life,
He was pessimistic,
About his wife.
With a heart so empty
He couldn’t connect,
And with horns so weak,
His territory, he didn’t protect.
Along came the Rat,
Charming and seductive.
1948
Her eyes were destructive.
She took his gold coat,
Being very small minded,
And with her black fur,
Together, they binded.
Never a leader,
The Ram stood aside,
And to her rules,
He would abide.
So a bush of red thorns,
Soon covered their greed.
An eternity to be stabbed,
Forever to bleed.
