Us humans have very confusing ways
We can go without a word for days and days
We hide our desires deep within our minds
Hoping that to others, it's impossible to find
Why do we have these peculiar ways of love?
Why must we be hurt, pushed, and shoved
You're left with only pain, the only thing that's real
The pain takes over your body and you no longer feel
Your body becomes numb but you still have the pain
The happiness inside slowly starts to drain
We get lost in what we want, and not need
We need to look past desire to truly succeed
Love disguises desire and lust
How do we know whom we can truly trust?
Do we ever truly know anyone completely?
Everyone has secrets some are just hidden deeply
Digging deep into yourself as well
You find unwanted thoughts, and your eyes start to swell
Again you have the tears, the taste of salt
No matter what, its gotta be our own fault
