World of Darkness (Light a Fire)

INTRO (POEM):

In a world filled with darkness,

Blind to its need for The Light;

Its ruler, in his fortress

His subjects ready to fight;

Yet many of these people

Wonder why they chose this side;

Consumed by constant evil,

Holding bitterness inside;

They remember, long ago,

Being told of something more;

Of how they could let life go,

And so live forevermore;

The memory is dying,

Dismissed as a fairy tale;

After their life of fighting,

They die, and descend to hell;

Through their lives, they walk a path,

Look at God, and shake their fists;

Their death, fueled by hate and wrath,

Lost in this world of darkness.

Have you ever known life before this darkness?

Or is this the way that it’s always been?

Oh, I know of the strife caused by this darkness

When you fight yourself, there’s no way to win
