Welcoming

I cut my hopes from midnight's sky
Bled the sweet starlight dry
And gently washed away a memory

You were my oblivion
My hungry void thirty for more
Ever wanting another drop of my emotion

Where do dreams go to hide?
Fearing another twisted nightmare
To mock the serenity of a fantasy

I wanted a place to run to
Kiss the empty lips of fear
And wandering this reality uninhibited

Yet your eyes shackled to this place
My blood yearn of your touch
Your lips cleanse all my thoughts

A smell to poison all others
I was completely helpless
And happy

Your echoes still haut my waking hours
Departing with your chains still tight
I will starve here
Waiting for a welcome death
