The full moon illuminated the old moon temple’s front entrance as two shady looking men stood there silently, them looking the strange engraved symbols the decorated some of the outside. Their faces remained in shadow as they slowly entered the dark temple and quickly came upon the back wall which was covered in the same kind of weird hieroglyphs as the front.

Cyrus, a noble but dark knight entered the room and looked around, his honor bound friend, Drake, following him in. Drake, the masculine bodied fighter, stepped past his friend and ran his hand over some of the hieroglyphs before he pressed a full moon shaped hieroglyph into the wall before him, the wall then splitting in half and slowly sliding open. The moons light filled the room, it flowing in from a hole in the ceiling which let the light of the moon shine in perfectly when it was directly on the midnight hour.

The pretty boy, Cyrus, stepped forward and placed a hand on the stone structure where an exceptionally pretty girl lied. The moon’s light illuminated her light blue skin and snow white hair as Cyrus slowly walked up to her and ran a hand down her cheek softly. Drake looked at him and grinned before Cyrus slowly began to lift her up into his arms. They turned around to leave when they saw an old man standing in the door way.

“You shall not harm those who seek the protection of the sacred moon shelter,” the old man said when Drake grinned.

“Who’s going to stop us old man? You?” he said with a chuckle when the old man’s eyes gleamed, him then throwing down a smoke ball and running towards Cyrus and knocking him down after stealing the girl. As soon as the old man had come he had vanished into the night as both Cyrus, and his friend Drake wondered where he had taken the young woman.

He kicked the door open, his breath having been lost long ago as he slowly placed the odd looking girl down onto one of his guest beds before covering her in a blanket. Once the blanket was on her he swore that he heard her moan softly but decided that his imagination was getting away with him when suddenly the girls body sat straight up, her light pink eyes looking around the room wildly. The old man quickly read the fear that was in her eyes and slowly walked up to her, trying to calm her down. She quickly looked over at him and screamed, a tall boy and his younger sister soon swinging open a door to find there grandfather trying to calm the young and frantic girl. Tyson, just having became a man, quickly went in to help his grandfather after shewing his small sister out and away from the room.

“What’s wrong!?” Tyson asked his grandfather as he ran over to the old mans side, his grandfather having his hands placed out in front of the girl just incase she happened to fall as she stood on the bed and looked down at them suspiciously.

“Who.. Are you?” she asked as she looked them over suspiciously when the grandpa sighed and relaxed a bit.

“I’m Joseph, my dear girl, and this is my grandson, Tyson,” he replied as he bowed slightly and then pointed over to the guy that had just entered. The way he carried himself, acted and even looked made him seem more like he was 10 rather then 18 but she could tell just by the way that his body was shaped. She sighed softly and sank down onto the bed, the old man throwing a blanket over her shoulders as she looked down at the ground quietly.

“You’ve had a pretty tough night my dear, some men had tried to capture you, are you alright?” The old man asked when she snapped out of her day dreams and looked up at him and smiled softly before nodding.

“Yes, sir, I’m fine,” she replied when she looked at the two of them and then felt rather rude.

“Oh yeah.. And my name is Leela-Octanian Barrett Symphonium, or Leela for short,” she replied quietly when the old man grinned and placed a hand on her shoulder.

“Well Leela, you may stay here as long as you need to and if you need anything then please don’t be afraid to ask,” he said as he went to exit the room. She nodded and watched as his grandson followed his lead and exited the room as well.

“Grandfather, her skin..” Tyson started when his grandfather cut him off.

“I know, I don’t know what she is but she looks to be something like a water nymph,” Joseph said thoughtfully when he turned to Tyson and placed his hands on his shoulders.

“I want you to keep an eye on her and if anything happens to me then I want you to take her…” he stopped as the sound of many horses could be heard outside. Joseph looked out one of the windows to find many men riding through town with torches as they began to set peoples houses on fire. Joseph gasped and quickly grabbed his grandson by the arm and led him to a small crate. He quickly pried off the lid and slammed a large bag of coins into Tyson’s chest along with a large sword which sat proudly on the wall above it.

“My father’s sword…” he said quietly as he looked over the uniquely engraved handle and blade. Joseph just gave him a fond smile before his face turned back into it’s serious look of worry.

“I want you to take that and my money and take that girl out of here. I can’t explain how I know that they’re after her but I’m pretty damn sure that it is,” he replied before he threw the door open and tossed Tyson inside, the young and curvy lady standing up and looking at them curiously.

“I’ll take your sister and mother into the valley to hide and I’ll see you two as soon as I can ok?” Joseph replied when Tyson nodded. Joseph sighed and kissed his grandson on the forehead and replied abut how much he reminded him of his father before he ran out of the room and left those two alone.

“What’s going on?” Leela asked curiously when Tyson grabbed her by the wrist.

“We have to go,” he replied when she looked at him rather puzzled and then was soon being pulled behind him as he ran out of the house and away from the commotion in the village and into the darkness of the forest nearby. Leela watched as the village people screamed and scattered while they just ran away quietly. She sighed softly and then looked ahead, trying to ignore all the chaos that was going on behind them as they soon became engulfed in the darkness which surrounded them.

It wasn’t too long until they had stopped, Leela laying down on the ground and deciding to get some sleep while Tyson sat up and looked over his father’s sword for a spell before falling asleep as well. The morning sun had risen far to early for Tyson’s liking but then again it was like that everyday. He yawned loudly and stretched, slowly getting to his feet when he’d noticed that his traveling companion, Leela, was gone. He gasped and looked around quickly when he noticed a small trail which seemed to lead towards the lake. He followed it quickly and sure enough that’s where he found her. He came upon the lake quietly and hid behind a tree as he watched her lay upon a large rock while talking to a water spirit. The spirit was female and obviously was made of only water but Tyson couldn’t help but stare at her. Not many people were lucky enough to see these rare and shy beings but not Leela, she just waltz’s up and begins to talk to one. Tyson found it rather peculiar that she could do that when he stumbled and the two quickly shot a glance over to him. The water spirit said a couple of quick words before disappearing while Leela nodded in understanding and got up, her quickly moving away from the lake.

“What was that?” Tyson asked as he made his way over to Leela when she smiled and shrugged, soon walking off in another direction. Tyson looked her over suspiciously and then shrugged to himself before soon catching up to her. They continued to walk quietly, them both unaware that they were being followed by some tall, dark stranger who seemed to loom closely above them, him being cleverly concealed in the brush of the trees.
