Dancing

Fingers play on taut strings,
Dancing around, spinning,
Fluid movement perpetual,
They spiral round,
Time slows, time stops,
The moment lives on,
As the dance is ending.

Moments last forever,
On a polished surface,
Lights bright, reflect in its midst,
They wax, then wane, then wax again,
As time goes by, reborn,
A renaissance, a rebirth,
The soul lives on, dancing still.

The fingers slow, the strings die,
Still the dance goes on,
The fluent motion, the flowing rhyme,
It waxes once again,
Time slowing, lasting forever,
Time stopping, enduring still,
Time going on eternal.
