Colors of Me
By: Lauren

Colors bleeding
Blending, moving
Shifting, changing
Melding into something new

Raindrops fall
To wet the paint
Pitter, patter
Softly crying

Colors move and melt
Into each other
Becoming something new and different,
Ever changing

Red- the color of my spilt blood
Orange- the color of the fire in my soul
Yellow- the color of the light that shines from my smile
These are the colors of me

Green- the color of my life
Blue- the color of the sorrow in my eyes
Purple- the color of my joy
Pink- the color of my eternal love

More and more colors of me
Every hue changing
Like the thousands of shades
Of the rising and setting sun

As I grow,
Colors disappear,
Replaced by another
Then reappear in an instant

It all blends into each other
Running together
Becoming a colorful mess
Smeared across the sky

New colors form
As my life changes
They are endless
These endless colors of me
