Dawn is breaking
Another day of eternity.
I cross out the
Thousand tomorrows
That still have yet to pass

Would you believe me
If I said that I'm still waiting?
You left with a smile that
Sealed the promise you whispered in my ear
And I sunk into the depths of your sunshine-filled smile
Foolishly falling for that lie

I've known for so long that
All this is just a fantasy, but
I still choose to blindfold myself from the truth
And sit by the windowsill everyday
Gathering the sun's rays, each of which
Contains the same smile of yours
That you bestowed on me that fateful day

They call for me to return
And draw the curtains
But I know that fantasies do come true

I don't know why I'm crying now

I tore up the letter that the messengers
