An unconditional love
Unsevered by time's wear
A bond unbreaking
Even in the worst of times

Can we be this selfish day to day
That many of us must forget our parent's love?
Burdened by myriads of things
Over time we take it all forgranted and blame

An unconditional love
Unsevered by time's wear
A bond unbreaking
Even in the worst of times

During developmental stages we abhor
As Father Time finally latche sonto us, we separate
Our lives are our own only to continue the process
Never really thinking about details until then

An unconditional love
Unsevered by time's wear
A bond unbreaking
Even in the worst of times

As Mother Nature takes her course, words are spoken
Emotions are potent; feelings injured
Take notice the bond and love still remaining, but why?
Because you are their child and nothing will ever change that; none can take that away.
