Tired of Pretending

Wanting everything perfect again,

Needing my head to stop spinning……..

My world is turned upside down,

Sometimes I swear I’m gonna drown.

I try to pretend everyday,

That everything is okay.

But the pain inside,

Makes it hard to survive.

Living a life,

That’s full of strife,

Makes me wish sometimes I’d just die.

I’m constantly hiding,

And I can’t go on trying,

Because I’m tired of fighting.

I wish to awake to the way things were,

But that’s simply a dream that’ll never occur.
