A girl sat in a corner
A girl sat, scared with tears
Tears running down her face
As she sat in her corner
Watching shadows in the fireplace

Her parents, in the next room
Shouting like hyena's
Were oblivious to the girl
And just kept on shouting

The shouting never ended
It just kept on going
Till the girl went crazy
Till she went in a coma

In this coma she dreamed
She dreamed of a peaceful world
Full of bunnies and puppies and soft kitties
Everything so cute and pretty
Where she could laugh and run and have fun
It was a place without shouting

Unknown to the girl
The shouting had stopped
Instead there was crying
And a small comfort in tears

Her parents had realized what they had caused
Realized their dreadful sin
And now they wanted their little girl back
But now they were too late....

The shouting had stopped
