Consolance

All alone, no one 'round,
As you're staring at the ground,
A breeze whisks by, a gentle sound,
It tells those that life's around.

When you fret, drown in ones tears,
Thinking sorrowfully of the younger years,
When you think all hope is gone,
Demons have triumphed, fear has won,
Look up to the moon, undying star,
You will find your past is far.

Forlorn, fading, dying within,
Go, listen to Natures hymn,
Whisper of wind, creaking of trees,
Babble of stream, rustling of leaves.
Living sounds guide you, no matter astray,
Look up to the heavens, live another day.

When you fret, drown in ones tears,
Thinking sorrowfully of the younger years,
When you think all hope is gone,
Demons have triumphed, fear has won,
Look up to the moon, undying star,
You will find your past is far.

Live for now, not for before,
You'll find yourself, your heart, your core,
Discard you shell, protective case,
Though new doubts you'll have to face,
Let your spirit soar free, free through the sky,
Only now will you know what it's like to fly.

When you fret, drown in one's tears,
Thinking sorrowfully of the younger years,
When you think all hope is gone,
Demons have triumphed, fear has won,
Look up to the moon, undying star,
You will find your past is far.
