We were a group of fearless adventurers who were eager for a nice expedition, when we came upon the creepiest journey ever. The day was dark and had a spook feel to it. All was still as the chill wove an ever ending strand of goose bumps us. We were in a dark chamber with only a ebony colored lantern sending beams of light casting dancing shadows spinning round the walls. We could smell the candle smoke as we walk on. Ahead was a tall brown shelf; what it held we couldn't tell as the darkness shade its delicious goodies from our view. As we got closer we saw the horror, which lay upon the rotten grimy shelves. One by one brown, yellow, gray, and white colored skulls stood glaring at us with their deep hollow eyes, pleading for justice of the wrong done to them. In the center on the hard pebble covered dirt, lay a cool open metal box; the treasure of the villains who occupied the chamber long ago. A dark brown almost black skull lay upon a musty cloth reeked with past decaying flesh look upon us, wrapping a cold empty feeling inside of us. That was the most horrifying day in which we turn into a group of scattered ruffled chickens from brave explorers.
