The wind growls at the trees as they bend in respect
Light rain grazes the ground, forming mud at my feet
I stand there and remember, remembering a girl who once lived
A girl who had dreams, a girl who had a loving family, a girl who saw the
best in everyone
Even the best in the men who stole her life away
Even the best in the person who caused her family to fall apart like a
fragile puzzle
She looked for the best in everyone as her life dismembered itself right in
front of her eyes
Through all the pain, all the sorrow, this girl kept her dreams
She was and still is a very extraordinary girl
Remember this Jewish girl who was an innocent victim of World War Two
