I’ve always wanted forever,

I’ve never imagined never.

But the pain I have within,

Is making me think once again.

I don’t want to walk away,

And let my heart go a stray,

But things can’t keep going this way.

The thought of me being with someone else,

Enters my heart with a sharpening yelp.

I don’t want to choose another,

There could never be anyone better.

Moving on will be so hard,

Please don’t make me part,

I know my heart will shatter,

And I’ll completely fall apart.

I always want forever,

I cannot imagine never.

A/n: Hey everyone! Guess what? This poem will be published in a book called Eternal Portraits. The book will be coming out next winter. I am excited beyond words. I never really imagined I would get a dream come true. I will now be going over all of my other poems, editing for errors, and try to get them also published. Its a work in progress!!
