Raining, raining,
It always seems to be raining here.
I've been given solitude until the days are born anew.
I've been given the ends of time and the end of the world,
But I'll always be alone.
Eating alone, sleeping alone, always,
I never knew such loneliness existed.
Brisk winds and my broken violin,
That's all I own.
A look of strength, tears of strength,
So strong it was Earth-shattering,
That's what I'm left.
Everyone leaves me in the blink of an eye.
I pray, "don't leave,
Stay close to my heart,
I'll carry your name; I'll finish your goals,
Because I'm around forever more."
Hate, sadness, temporary smiles,
But please, I don't recall this emotion.
Open you eyes and tell me what I'm feeling.
Centuries of the lifestyle,
People I don't know, languages I don't speak become familiar.
Let the auction commence,
Who shall I lose next?
And what can I say to you before you disperse?
Pull the bow of life and shoot,
Faster than love, faster than sadness,
Before confusion, seize your path.
A distant voice is calling to me,
A beloved, a beloved, a beloved.
Capture me and test my immortal body, my immortal soul.
Speak of you heart to me.
During my lifetime,
Everyone eventually disappears like a phantom.
Your tears and reaching hand are so far away,
I'll live an eternity,
An embedded symbol that will not go away,
Reminding my undying self,
Don't forget when the day comes,
To greet the release with glee.
So my beloved asked me once,
"Where are you going,
do you leave with the rain?"
I've become a wandering loner,
Roaming the vast world
So desolate and fast-paced.
I'm told the heart fades with the form,
But I'm still here without my heart.
Even if you open your ears, you can't hear
The sound of the heart.
If only just once, if only,
What would I give to be mortal,
Not a vagabond never dying?
Jealous as others can get I want to rest,
Because living forever is like never being alive,
Like the undead amongst the mortals.
Raining, raining,
Wonder if it'll ever stop raining in my heart.
Maybe when this eternity ends,
And them I'll be back with my beloved.
Immortal rains,
Falling with each person I meet,
I'd give up my immortality,
For a day without rain and empty living.
So I'll play my fiddle's melodies,
Circle the world twenty times over,
And wake again alone,
Until the immortal rains stop falling.
I'll wander alone,
Until the immortal rains stop falling.
Falling faster nevermore.
