To whom it may concern:

About the stories I haven’t given up on yet: I apologise for not updating in the last… er… long time.

In order to offer the semblance of an excuse, I give you: COLLEGE! Has successfully taken over my life. It’s the first time since grade 3 that I can actually remember enjoying school, really actually loving it. Unfortunately, it’s a lot of work.

Which means less writing.

Then my muses ran away for a few months. I had no inclination to write. Equals almost no writing.

BUT (and now for the good news)

November NaNoWriMo. Good? Bad? Both. Good: I’m writing Joaquin’s backstory. His ENTIRE backstory. Up to and including a little about Alex’s father. And if you want to read that while I write it, it’ll be at http : / www. livejournal . com / userinfo . bml ? user beindifferent    Just remember to move the spaces in the address.

The bad part? Well, I’m not able to update any of the other stories until the end of November. The better part of the bad news? I AM working on the chapters now, and you should get at least two updated chapters on December 1st or 2nd. (Probably Reckless and Shadows. Don’t expect Indifferent for a little longer, as I expect I’ll be tired of Joaquin by then. Then again, he might inspire me for more. So don’t get your hopes up, but there may be an update for that too.)

Again, I’m really sorry about this.

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful few months, and I’ll be talking to you again in December!
