It dawns.. Our cruel destiny.. Nothing will stop it.. Nothing.

It forces our carefree days.. Our laughter filled days.. Away.. Forever.

It makes us trudge into our prison.. Our jail cells.. Where we serve.. Unspeakable torture.. Every day.. With no end.

Our feet are heavy.. Our eyes tired.. Our backs ache.. And our minds grow weary.. Oh, so much pain.

Merciless keepers.. Watching our every move.. Keeping us in line.. And yelling.. Yelling until we're deaf.

Forcing us to do things against our will.. Making us do their work.. Chasing away our sanity.. Our dignity.

But never the less.. There is always a light of hope.. A light that burns bright.. In each and every one of us.. Never to be extinguished.

The hope of a time.. Where freedom will be ours again.. Where there'll be no more pain.. No more yelling.. Only laughter.

Everyone marks down each day.. Waiting patiently.. And always with enthusiasm.. The day.. When vacation.. Will be here again!
