The greatness has beseeched me,
In these times of death and famine,
As do I mourn for those who have lost
All they have given

To the Cause

From my very daughter
Came the last hand held out
To shield the peace
To protect what was shed

I know she now far is gone
In blood and ashes
So does the moon sway
In wondering fire and cold desire

'Tis this night I wane in
Nothingness
Taking in the real
That my son lost

For the Cause

And I say to myself
In this heart of disrupt
Is it merely a fight?
Or a war of more?

Night has fallen
Down upon us,
And so shall that moon sway
Forever

Until the end of the Cause.
