Sabishii Amadare

Rushing, pounding, falling,
Thousands of lives disappear.
No one can see,
No one will notice one more life.

How many more times do I have to cry?
How much more pain must I endure?
Will this sound ever go away?
The sound that invades my mind.

I hear what others do not,
I see what they will not.
Silence is my comfort,
Lies do not speak when all is quiet.

Every tear falls unnoticed,
I stop crying.
Every scream goes unheard,
I stop screaming.

Every light gets extinguished,
I stop hoping.
Every good deed goes unrepaid,
I stop caring.

Around these people,
I don't know who I am.
Alone in the dark,
I am myself.

They can never see the real me,
Every attempt to show them gets me thrown away.
Everyone will disappear,
No one will look back.

In a storm,
A first raindrop must fall.
That lonely raindrop,
Dying alone.

Well everyone, what do you think? Good? Bad? Mediocre? The title, Sabishii Amadare is Japanese for Lonely Raindrop. The rain is so much like me, everyone wants it to go away so they can play in the sunlight.
