Tainted

Tears streaking my face once again.
Wishing I could change what's inside.
Sick and tired of the pain and fear.
Catching every single tear
Watching them fill my hands.
Some seeping through the cracks
Overflowing like the pain in my mind
Never finding a way to unwind.
The darkness encompasses my senses
The pain and sadness now hazy--
Wanting to blend into one.
Now leaving me back where I had begun.
Gazing into the tarnished mirror,
Seeing nothing but a dark shadow,
Sitting in a grey room.
The shadow of dark, red, gloom.
Radiating its eternal anguish
Cursed to walk among beauty.
A gaping black bottomless hole.
An estranged and tainted soul.
