The Secret of my Shadow and the Sorrow of my Soul
Author:
scudcrow PM
The first solid, heart-broken poem entry I made during college-influenced by Zen; I'd written this one keeping in mind the imprisonment of the Count of Monte Christo!

THE SECRET OF MY SHADOW AND THE SORROW OF MY SOUL

Twelve bars of steel
The breeze is cool
It is blue
I;
see it is blue; I touch it without heat--
Twelve bars of confinement,
Knowledge weeps a thousand children
i feel the Soul
living in my Shadow
They weep-a tangy taste of twisted turbulence
it is blue
twelve bars of steel
I see it is blue
i weep a thousand tears
tear in the Soul
Outside - the twelve bars
the breeze is cool.
Without heat - tis true
It is real...
