We're all Republicans Now

The Democratic Leadership has once again erroneously analyzed their defeat in an attempt to continue to miss-lead their constituents into believing that they are still a viable political party. Like deranged mental patients in denial, it looks like they can't come to terms with their mounting failures. For over 45 years their numbers have been on the decline. The blue collar followers of the '50s and '60s, have educated themselves and two generations. Voters that have jumped the sinking ship, changing their party affiliation in what can only be described as "the great political evolution" of the '80s. The same political evolution that brought about the Republican Party's re-alignments of the later part of the last century, and now have gained the control of both Houses of Congress, and the Office of the Presidency of the United States.

The Democrats have had years to learn the lessons of our fathers, but like disobedient children, have refused to realize that it has been "they" who have abandoned the party of our great-grandparents. They haven't learned from their mistakes, hell they don't even acknowledge any of the blame. The Leadership has not changed their political strategies, opting instead to use the formulas of the past, while rapidly eroding their own base, as they live out their lies.

They have been beating the "dying horses" of yesterdays issues in a continuing effort to administer political CPR to a party "platform" that is dying a terribly slow and lingering death. The only thing left is to unplug them from "life support" to then bury them once and for all.

The key is to salvage some dignity, but they don't even know that. Those of us who came from grand-parents and parents who abandon the great Democratic party after the '60s are embarrassed for you.

We're all Republicans now! Enough is enough! Just STOP IT!!! start behaving. The rest of us have work to do.

From the reviews this has received, my point has been made. Thank you ALL!
