Ripples

The water ripples
A large splash reaching to the heavens in an act of denial
The water catches the light of the sun
Shining it reflects a multitude of colours
Tall tower, made of rock and basalt
Shadows over the shimmering water
Creating a dense dark atmosphere
Petticoats fly up and her dignity gone
Shocked courtiers horrified at her misery and betrayal
She dives from her imprisonment
Crazed and unhappy she gives up her life
To the water
Swallowing her up, the ripples marks the passage
Where her existence ended
The shadow of the tower, casting its gloom over her
Her resting place, shadowed by her suffering
Where the water ripples
