Sweet larks have fallen away,
Hidden beneath leafy snows
Beyond my reach, and beyond my senses.
Long strides upon the parkway
Do fill my dreamy thoughts
Come away with me to a wistful place.
Let luscious colors swell in thine eyes
Let them permeate thy very being
And the very world in which thous't dwell.
Cease to care, cease to worry
Let not these things pilfer thy delight
For it seems wisdom would beckon otherwise.
Tend to thy merry meadow
Upon which, love sought for thee
And mend the heart which longs for company.
