She weeps
alone beneath starry shade,
entwined in need to cry forever-
for him, and herself.
Breathing yellow roses,
bleeding silver hearts
drawn by her shaking hand.
She lifts her tattered wings
and falls
lifeless
to the ground.
Pearly moonshine whites
of his eyes,
her own chalk white face
reflected in the burning
pupils of his stare.
Perfection, the darkness
whispers.
She closes her eyes
and
wakes up.
